:: Studio / Commercial / Broadcast
TECHNICS was not only well known in the consumer market, but in the commercial market as well. From it's SP02 cutting lathes, to it's broadcast specific turntables, and the first ever CD player with pitch manufactured back in the early 1980s! Reel-to-Reel machines, Digital Audio Recorders, Quadrophic 8 Track recoders, and tons more! Many broadcast, studio, and recording houses still have their TECHNICS in use to this day!

:: Systems
TECHNICS was also known for it's all-in-one systems, which included everything... tape deck, receiver, amplifier, turntable, speakers, etc. These all in one units were very popular in the 70s during the hi-fi revolution.

:: Retail Links
Although the TECHNICS brand, except for the DJ line, is no longer manufactured here in the U.S. - Overseas, it's a different story. The brand is still very popular in it's home town of Japan, where it is still manufactured. You'll also find links to some reputable shops that sell everything from TECHNICS parts, used equipment, and TECHNICS DJ. If your located outside of the U.S., the TECHNICS brand is even more popular, and there are some models which never saw the light of day in the U.S., that is only specific to certain countries. Here we have links to Domestic & International stores!
